Counselor's Corner
Eagles Greetings!
My name is Mrs. Tai Cambre-Williams. I am the school counselor here at John L. Ory. I am a graduate of East St. John High School. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a Minor in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health & School Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana. I am a certified school counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Louisiana Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota National Counseling Society. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, live music and traveling. This is my tenth year as a counselor within St. John the Baptist Parish Schools and fourth year here at John L. Ory Communication Arts Magnet School.
I am here to closely collaborate with JLO faculty, staff and parents to help our scholars achieve academic, career, personal and social success.
I am excited for the 2021-2022 school year and am thrilled for the opportunity to work with both yourself and your John L. Ory Scholar!
I BELIEVE IN ME!
Sincerely,
Tai Cambre-Williams, M.A., LPC-S, NCC
